Lizzie Gorman

Lizzie qualified in 2016 but has been in practice since 2004 when she joined a local practice working Saturdays and school holidays. She joined The Vets’ Place in 2018.

Lizzie enjoys all aspects of nursing but is particularly passionate about dentistry, feline nursing & anaesthesia.  She holds the ISFM Certificate in Feline Nursing and has completed the BVNA Oral Care Nurse Certificate.  She has completed the BVNA learning pathway in anaesthesia and hopes to complete further study in this area. Lizzie is also our clinical coach, supporting students through their nurse training.
Prior to training as a nurse Lizzie completed a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare at the University of Chester. 

Outside work she enjoys hiking with her husband, camping, country music & hand-rearing kittens.  She has three cats of her own.
