Cheryl Frederick

Cheryl has been in veterinary practice for over 35 years with a varied amount of experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse including 10 years as Head Nurse in a busy veterinary practice in Surrey. Cheryl and her family relocated back up north 7 years ago and she joined the team at The Vets’ place in 2017 initially as an RVN locum nurse then moving to a more administrative role as Nurse manager helping to make sure the practice runs smoothly – whether it’s insurance claims or accounts.

Recently Cheryl has been asked to use her varied experience to become the Practice Manager of The Vets’ Place so will now be taking on a more full-time admin role but you may occasionally see her donning her nurses’ uniform in times of need.

Outside the practice Cheryl spends most of her time with her family, ferrying around her son who is a budding basketball player along with looking after her very cheeky cockapoo, Kobe.
