Michael Hough BVSc MRCVS
Michael graduated from The University of Liverpool.
Having worked in mixed practice in Derbyshire and with farm animals in Cheshire, he begun to work solely in small animal practice, firstly in Cheshire and then he moved to Hong Kong with Wendy and worked for the SPCA (Society for Protection of Cruelty to Animals). This provided a varied and interesting case load.
Since returning to the UK he worked as a locum in first opinion small animal practice before opening The Vets’ Place.
He is currently studying for a Royal College certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice.
Wendy Hough BVSc CertVA MRVCS
Wendy qualified from The University of Liverpool.
Her first job was in mixed practice in Nottinghamshire, dealing mainly with companion animals, but all species were treated, in a busy four vet clinic. From there Wendy went to work with horses, firstly, in Hampshire and then in the Far East, for the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
After returning to the UK Wendy, along with Michael, had been searching for a location to set up a practice. After a wide search, it is ironic, that The Vets’ Place is around the corner from where Wendy lived, whilst growing up.
Wendy holds the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons certificate in Veterinary Anaesthesia and has an interest in Veterinary acupuncture which can be particularly effective in the treatment of chronic disease states, either to complement orthodox treatments or when orthodox medicine fails.
Jo Sparkman BVM&S MRCVS
Jo graduated from Edinburgh in 1997 and has worked in small animal practices in Surrey and Warrington. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and is particularly interested in feline medicine.

Jenna Morris BSc BVSc MRCVS
Jenna studied Veterinary Science as a second degree and graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2015. She gained experience at a small animal hospital in Cheshire before joining the vet team at The Vets Place in 2016.
She thouroughly enjoys spending time with all of her patients and has a particular interest in opthalmology.
Jenna loves exploring new cities - especially during the winter months. In summer she likes to potter in the garden, where her grapevines are her pride and joy.

She has a rescue dog called Phoebe, 4 rescued cats, guinea pigs and a horse called Daisy who is 23yrs old.

She currently lives in Mobberley with her husband Chris, cat Paddy, her rabbit and guinea pig. Kim shares a horse called Jonah with her sister which halves the work. He is great fun and they both enjoy competing him. Kim has worked at The Vets' Place since it opened in 2009. She says that she can't believe how fast the years have gone, that she has really enjoyed meeting new clients, seeing familiar faces and helping to establish the practice.
Kim is currently on maternity leave enjoying time with her adorable baby daughter. We are really looking forward to her return in the new year.
